Kebakaran hutan kembali terjadi di Australia, tepatnya di New South Wales. Sejauh ini total lahan yang dilanda kebakaran mencapai 8 juta hektare, yang ukurannya sama besar dengan Pulau Irlandia, Amerika Serikat.
Kebakaran api yang terjadi sejak September 2019 ini bukan hanya menyebabkan kerugian material, tetapi juga mengakibatkan tewasnya 24 warga Australia dan ribuan lainnya kehilangan tempat tinggal.
